A Mount Princeton Hot Springs Wedding is a great spot to get married if you want to get away from Denver and the popular spots for that authentic Colorado mountain experience. It's also a great spot to share your vows with your friends and family because they have onsite lodging and an amazing natural hot springs with several pools and spots even in the river.
Colorado has so many spots for a great vacation wedding that it can be hard to narrow it down to just one. I really enjoy Mount Princeton Hot Springs for the nearby mountains, Aspen trees, and of course the geo-thermal water. I think weddings are best when you and your guests can stay at the venue and really make it a weekend of it. It's super fun, but also makes it easier for the couple to spend some quality time with everyone without having to pack it in on the wedding day. Which, unfortunately, doesn't happen. You ineveitably miss spending some with a few people. The day goes by so quickly.
Gen, Chad, and I were so lucky that the fall colors stuck around for thier wedding. This was October and generally the leaves have peaked and are long gone by this time... they held out this year. Whew.
Another thing I loved from this wedding was Chad's best man was also the flower boy and he really went with it. He had a fanny pack filled with flowers and he has such and awesome entrance to the ceremony. It was hilarious and awesome.
We went up higher into the mountains for their portraits and it did not dissapoint. These two love the mountains. Make sure to check out thier mountain engagement session too.
Gen and Chad had to reschedule their wedding due to Covid so this day has been a long time coming. It was so worth it.
