This Hudson Gardens Wedding was a picture perfect day and thankfully we were blessed with a fantastic sunset. Although Michelle and Hunter now live on the east coast, the both grew up in Colorado Springs so coming back to Colorado to get married was a no brainer. They knew each other in high school but never dated. It wasn't unil a couple a years ago that they reconnected and that's when the sparks began to fly.
Hudson Gardens itself is a really nice property. The flowers and ponds are very nice but I really love the view in the back for sunsets. You can see this evidence above.
The gardens span across 30 acres and feature a wide variety of plants and flowers, as well as several event spaces and art installations.
One of the highlights of Hudson Gardens is the Monet Garden. This garden is modeled after the famous water lily paintings of Claude Monet and features a serene pond surrounded by beautiful water lilies and other aquatic plants. The Monet Garden is a popular spot for weddings and other events, and it's easy to see why - the peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings create a magical atmosphere that's perfect for special occasions.
In addition to the plant collections, Hudson Gardens also has several event spaces that can be rented for weddings, and events. The Inn at Hudson Gardens is a beautiful venue with a rustic charm that's perfect for intimate weddings. The Inn is located in the heart of the gardens and features beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
Michelle and Hunter got married in the Rose Garden with their reception nearby at the Bloom Room.
