Jessica and Chance's Lodge at Sunspot Wedding at Winter Park resort was awesome. Not only do I adore this couple, but the weather just couldn't have been more incredible. They have so much care for each other and really fit together with their pugnacious spirit.
The Lodge at Sunspot is an great venue for a few reasons: I love the cabin/lodge feel, it's high in the mountains, and the sunsets there are amazing! It is now honestly one of my top 5 favorite wedding venues in Colorado for that very reason. It's also fairly close to Denver. It is a great location to show off the Colorado mountains to your family and they don't have to drive 3 hours into the mountains. It is also away from the traffic delays of I-70.
The day began with Jessica and Chance getting ready at the condos at Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe. It's just across from The Zephyr Mountain Lodge. Both are great lodging options for your guests. They are very close to the mountain village, restaurants and bars, and the gondola and lift.
Their ceremony was out on the patio alongside the lodge. It was certainly a tight fit, but its such an amazing view. After the ceremony the most incredible sunset started and if you go behind the sunspot lodge the view just opens up and you can see everything. It was such an incredible moment.
