The Sonnenalp Hotel is right in Vail Village and is this nice venue right along Gore Creek with a European flair. I would highly suggest a Sonnenalp Vail Wedding if you have smaller wedding, want a place to stay for all your guests, and you enjoy watching the stars as you dance into the night.
One of the coolest things about this wedding was the ceremony and reception were both held on the terrace. A small sunroom surrounded by windows with one really cool improvement: the roof retracts! You can open up the roof and the sides to make this completely open space for your guests to enjoy.
The initial plan was a large wedding in California but with it still being 2020 plans changed and they came to Colorado for a smaller more intimate wedding.
That didn't mean the decor needed to suffer. Chandler and Will had some incredible flower decorations by Rose Petals Vail all along the tables, chairs and their round arbor. I think these combined with the open terrace made for a really neat experience and made the space feel very welcoming.
