A snowy wedding proposal in Rocky Mountain National Park, Did She Say Yes?

Estes Park, Colorado

I absolutely love helping plan wedding proposals. Not only because I love LOVE. But its a chance to make someones ideas and dreams come true for how they want their life to go with their chosen partner.

I can remember very vividly what I felt like when I knew I wanted to ask my girlfriend to be my wife. I had so much excitement and joy, it was hard to keep it contained and to even focus my plans and ideas into action.

I know what it feels like and I am here to help you figure out all those little details to help make your ideas and plans a reality. I love the chance to flex my photo ninja skills and to go undetected, even when I am in plain sight. It's fun and exciting.

Andrew contacted me with previous plans for he, his son, and Mackenzie to come visit the Denver area as well as Estes Park. He knew he wanted to do it in the mountains as both of them enjoy the outdoors and exploring, he just didn't know where.

After talking for a while about what he was looking for and sending some location examples, we settled on this one. Crazy thing is that we had high 70 degree days prior and on the day they were coming to Estes Park it was 90% chance of snow and up to 6-8 inches. Thankfully, my gear is weather sealed and if it gets really crazy out, I have some weather bags I can put my cameras in and keep shooting.

On the day, the fog and dense snowfall made it very difficult to see the giant mountain view behind thme in this specific location. No worries. After the big moment we moved into other locations to really showcase the natural beauty of the giant pine trees, waterfalls and rocks in the National Park. Still a very gorgeous and wonderful day.

Congratulations you two and I am excited for what is ahead of you and your family. Keep that boy warm.

She did say YES by the way.
