Erin and Levi's rustic outdoor wedding in Montrose Colorado was very them. I have known Levi for a long time and knew Erin from school. We all grew up in Montrose together. I knew the first time I went camping with Erin and Levi that they would eventually get married. They really do complement each other and are of the same odd breed that no one else would understand. I don't even fully, but they do, and that's what is important.
Levi's brother Travis has become quite an accomplished brewer and even had some produced by Odd 13 Brewery. He brewed a sour ale he called "Say 'I Do' Sour" and a "Whiskey Tango" Pale Ale.
I loved all the little western / rustic wedding touches. From Levi's camo anodized wedding band, shotgun shell boutineer's, to Erin's burlap and bandana bouquet. Of course nothing closes out the perfect wedding for me than capturing some awesome sunset portraits. Looking at those now, I can feel the warm glow and hear the soft breeze push the dry tall grass around. Enjoy!
The Montrose valley is really unique and holds a special spot in my heart. It so close to some really grand mountains, the Black Canyon National Park, also other neat canyonlands, as well as some weird adobe hills and deserts. Also incredible skiing in Telluride. If you are considering getting married on the western slope of Colorado or Montrose, hit me up! I would love to show you around.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
