Heather and Aaron wanted to get married on 2/24/24. Not only for the fun date but they didn't want to wait to get later in the year due to trips. They wanted sunset and mountain views and close to Denver. My first thought was for them to have a Mount Falcon Elopement Wedding. It's a really neat park with great views and, if the weather cooperates, pretty nice sunsets too!
The day started out at their local church with their pastor. It has a little side chapel that is rather unique and super tiny. It gets even smaller with 4 people in there. It has this old leather bound bible from the 1870s that has seen better days but it was still pretty great to use from some ring detail shots.
One thing that was super important was to take some photos with their dog Cooper. He was so dang cute and is 11 years old. It was so difficult taking photos of such a cute dog /s. After our Coop time we then meandered around finding a couple meadows for some impromptu dancing and general Heather goofyness.
As it neared sunset time we made our way to this rock edge and that was when the insane wind began. The light was great so we had to work quick and they totally pulled it off and thankfully didn't become icicles.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
