Liz and Kurt's Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church Wedding was a wonderful day. They chose their church to hold their ceremony with a reception following on the lawn. First time i've seen chandeliers in a tent. A very nice touch.
Liz and Kurt are such a cute and loving couple. I was thrilled to photograph and attend their wedding. It was so interesting to see the customs that take place during a green orthodox wedding. Most of the traditions are done and/or said in threes. You can read more about this Here if you like. This is done to signify the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As a photographer I thought this was a bonus because if you didn't quite photograph something just right you had two other opportunities to get it right.
They had their reception out on the lawn of the church; something they don't generally do, but given their wedding didnt have a bunch of people and they attend church there, they made an exception. I thought it was a great mix of classy modern but also rustic and easy-going. Much like Kurt and Liz.
