Perced on the edge of Flagstaff Mountain is the Flagstaff House. It's a neat little restaurant that caters well for small weddings and events. The food is top notch and so are the views outside on the patio. Having a Flagstaff House Wedding in Boulder Colorado would be easy, gorgeous, and delicious.

I have some favorite special spots along Flagstaff road that I like to do portraits. They are either for the light, rocks, or some really cool trees. One of the places I took Chelsea and Adam to for the awesome red rock formations just so happened to be a spot that Chelsea learned how to rock climb as a child. I thought that was a fun little happy accident.

The day started with Chelsea and Adam doing a first look across the street of the Flagstaff House at the Halfway House. It's a small stone cabin with some awesome views of the Boulder Flatirons and a great view looking down toward Boulder. It was constructed as a part of the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935 for use as a picnic shelter.

Back at the Flagstaff House, C + D had their ceremony out on the goregous patio. There's not a ton of space so you are quite limited to the number of people and that was the way Chelsea and Adam wanted it. Small and intimiate. Just their favorite friends and family.

I think the Flagstaff House is a great venue not only for the fantastic food, but all the varied photo opportunities near the restaurant itself and just alongside Flagstaff Road. There is tons of varity of views and scenery. Also pretty amazing light too! Definitely check it out if you want a mountain-like venue but your wedding is on the smaller side and you don't want to travel too far.
