If you have ever thought of getting married in Estes Park, you will quickly realize there are so many options to have your ceremony and reception. You can even mix and match those venues for your wedding.
On the top of your list should be to have a Della Terra Mountain Chateau wedding. They are nestled right up next to Rocky Mountain National Park, have a great reception room and have overnight accomodations for you and your guests.
Choosing to have your wedding ceremony and reception at different venues allows you to create two distinct experiences that each shine in their own way. A ceremony space can be selected for its intimacy, scenery, or emotional atmosphere, while the reception venue can focus on comfort, space, and celebration. This separation often gives couples more flexibility with design, timing, and guest experience, while also allowing each part of the day to feel intentional and memorable rather than rushed or compromised in a single location.
Katie and Aaron's wedding had it all. They wanted a smaller ceremony for close friends and their families. I have photographed larger weddings at Della Terra and they just didn't have the waves of emotions that Katie and Aaron's did. Everyone sat up close and were nestled in together. It was certainly a unique one to remember. It was also exactly what they wanted.
After doing a few photos on the Della Terra property, we moved to Rocky Mountain National Park since it's so close. It's one of my favorite spots and I love coming back and exploring and sharing some of my favorite spots; obvious and hidden. When you are planning your wedding near Rocky Mountain National Park, you make time for a mountain photo adventure.
If you want a Rocky Mountain National Park wedding it's pretty easy. They have specific sites for ceremonies but afterward we can go all over the park to get a variety of photos. Click the link and you will find info on locations for ceremonies and other permit info.
Email Me your ideas, I am happy to help you plan it out. I also have a TON of my own to share.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
