Kelsey and Mike, Mike and Kelsey. Ahhh. Such sweet people. Their Black Forest by Wedgewood wedding was such a nice surprise. The venue is still rather close to Denver and Colorado Springs but it sure feels like you're in the mountains. The surrounding pine trees really make it feel special and nice.
Come to find out we live crazy close to each other and I have run into them at the grocery store and the outdoor mall a few times since their wedding. I love it.
First if you haven't seen them already. Definitely go check out their engagement session. Doing an engagement session or a couples session prior to the wedding does a few really good things for couples; One, we get sometime to spend together and see what it's like to work with me, and Two, you can use the photos as save the dates and decor for the wedding that you will hang in your house afterwards. I think another positive thing for them was neither really want to have their picture taken and are rather introverted. After their engagement photos they totally got how much fun and easy it is that on the wedding day their didn't have to worry at all.
M+K are a hockey house divided but they don't let that get in the way of their love for the game overall. All their tables were named after NHL teams by the way. They are also whiskey and beer aficianados so it makes sense why we're friends even after the wedding.
