How do I apply for a Colorado marriage license?

• Find a county clerk and recorders office. The list of counties is below
• Pay $30 Fee
• The license and certificate must be completed within 35 days from the date.
• Both applicants must apply in person and be over 18.
• You do not need to be Colorado Residents to obtain a marriage license in Colorado.
• Must present a photo ID with a birth date and a social security number.
• Acceptable ID's include
• Birth Certificate
• Valid Driver's License (or temporary issued with voided previous liscense)
• A Valid Passport
• Valid State ID card
• Military ID card
• Alien Registration Card ("Green Card")
• Any goverment issued ID card containing a photo, birthday, issue and expiration date.
• Unacceptable ID's include
• Matricula Consular card
• Expired drivers license
• Voter registration card
• Social Security card

You can apply for your marriage license at any county in Colorado. You can use any of the links below in the respective county. Most couples choose the county they are getting married in or the one they live in or staying near when visiting. It doesn't really matter, just find the one that is most convienent for you. Some allow walkins, some are appointment only, some are only open specific days of the week. You can find the one that works best for you.
